We recently watched Twister AGAIN. We deliberately brought it back out because of a recent trip to Alburqurque where we visited Canyon Road. We saw some beautiful kinetic garden sculptures and recalled the wonderful sculputres from Twister. We paused for the credits to find the artist's name and voila, there you were O. Evan Lewis. I was hoping to see all of the kinetic sculptures from Twister. Are there photos of them? Let us know where we might view them. Thank you!

Yesterday, 7 Sept. 2008, I went swimming at the Dungeree Beach with my son and his daugther, Patricia. The beach is few meters away from the Runway of the Subic Bay International Airport. After a few minutes on the water I stepped on a sharp object and the pain was terrible, as if I stepped on a burning charcoal. I slowly got off the sand beach to the cottage on shore and applied a torniquet just above my left ankle and allowed the wound to bleed so the venom would not circulate through my blood artery. I remembered the first aid for snake bite. I never heard before of a first air for stonefish sting. minutes later the pain was becoming more and more unbearable. The lifeguard gave me the first aid treatment, he got a hot water in a conainter and submerged my wounded foot. I was told that the water was with meat tenderlizer and venegar. But the pain did not subside, so I asked my son to drive me to the Airport Clinic which was about 10 minutes drive. A young lady medical doctor met me and administered the appropriate medicines. She told me that it would have been worst if I had not allowed the wound to bleed.Stonefish I found out is the most venomous fish. It's antivenom is not available yet in the Philippines. I have not heard before of stonefish sting until I became a victim.

and how did you treat it? what worked?

the other day I ended up with 12 mangoes. i made the same mistake as you, only AFTER i started feeling some irritation, i continued shoving the delicious fruit into my mouth and also scraping the skin with my lips and teeth.

needless to say, today is a very painful and itchy day. i look like i've just had a bad botox job.

Hi Allison,

Go to http://www.bowen-shoes.com, there are all their shops with the adresses in France and one emailadress that doesn't work.

Phone number of some of their shops in Paris are:
+33-1-422225221, +33-1-42651051, +33-1-47204590

I need to talk to them too, I had a pair colored custom made but what I got delivered now really is bad, I am going to have to complain.

Good luck

Dr. Haynes test flies his Star Trek in the Garage plasma propelled UFO for the FAA/AST

Dr. Doug Haynes, CEO of the world first FAA/AST registered Spaceline and builder of the worlds first manned UFO (Haynes Saucer) completes initial flight testing of his upgraded plasma drive propulsion motors and their associated RCU maneuvering system. Upgrading of the PDP motors are in support of Dr. Haynes “Go 100% Flight Green” campaign launched last year by his spaceline. Instead of using hydrocarbon based fuels to power the FAA first registered flying disk Dr. Haynes “state of the art” plasma drive propulsion (pdp) motors were used to power the Haynes Saucer through the thin Colorado atmosphere at record breaking speeds and altitudes. All of Dr. Doug’s flying saucer was designed to uses his PDP motors. Dr. Haynes PDP motors work by highly energizing electricity to ionize / thrust vector statically charged air surrounding their circular airframes. This is the first time a flying disked shaped vehicle (UFO) has levitated off the ground and flew without creating hydrocarbon based pollutions.

The safe and successful completion of Dr. Haynes historic flight opens the door to real “Green fight” operations in and out of the atmosphere during the early 21st century. The smaller Haynes Saucer will operate like the Jettison Mobile terrestrial commuter for most of the DEHAS Inc customers. The slightly more advanced Blue Ridge Nebula Spaceline version will have the capability of dock with its larger Star Trek Enterprise configured mother-ship during deep space flight events as depicted on their newly re-designee space transportation reservation website (www.bluenebula.com). The company has supported/competed in several international civilian spaceflight races while successfully transforming their original FAA certified air carrier airline into a cargo / passenger charter spaceline operation as profiles on their webpage at (www.blueridgeairlines).

Dr. Doug’s spaceline will also build its own orbital docking transfer terminals which generate the same artifice gravity centrifugal forces as his Haynes Saucers do now.
Dr. Haynes and his Blue Ridge Nebula spaceline management team are also the only civilian passenger/cargo space transportation operators to have actually conducted multiple real-time, round-trip, spaceflights to the Mars orbital system in raining.

The pioneering team is currently completion the final registration protocols for FAA/AST (spaceline) RUV certification operations which call for the flight testing/qualification of all the Haynes Saucers hardware. The Blue Ridge Nebula Spaceline company is the only X- X-Prize competitor of the early 2000 to have not yet experience an unsafe program deployment occurrence such as vehicle crashes or explosions, thanks to God’s guidance and protection. As always feel free to attend one of our public flight demonstrations scheduled in mid March and October of each year and experience aeronautical history in the making. As always God bless you all this summer.

That is wonderful news! I would of never thought manuka honey would stop the infection that just shows how smart people like the head of the University of Wales Institute research team are. Thanks for the information. I want to go read more about it.

Advertising on Craigslist vs. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is another type of marketing which many business owners find to be both worthwhile and affordable. For many the appeal of affiliate marketing is the affiliates are not compensated for their efforts unless the business owner sees some type of gain from the advertising. This gain may be in the form of website traffic in the case of pay per click marketing, in the form of sales in pay per sale marketing or in the form of potential leads when a website visitor performs a specific action such as registering with a website or signing up for an offer.

While affiliate marketing is very appealing there are others who prefer advertising on Craigslist. The advantages Craigslist offers to advertisers is, of course, that the advertisers never pay for their business advertisements and the community receives a great deal of website traffic already so driving traffic to the website is not a concern.
