dinner and a movie: Last Holiday

Beef stew. Once again, low expectations for a movie that got less than stellar reviews. Surprisingly fun.

Seldom do my choices in dinner movies feature food, it seems. Some of the scenes were set in a hotel kitchen, and there were closeups of several dishes. But never enough. Then again, the subject wasn’t food.

Most of the flowers were in bright afternoon sun and very difficult to shoot. The roses at my mom’s yard are not fed, but are covered with flowers this year. All that rain.
