February 10, 2006Normally, if a water buffalo wanders off, there is an obvious, odiferous trail.
However, since November in New Forest, Hampshire, six of them are there one minute, gone the next. No trails. They can weigh almost a ton each, so rustling them could prove quite daunting.
Police are puzzled. No doubt the water buffalo are tired of the game. Unless they are behind it all.
