strawberries: get the red out

My mom is allergic to strawberries. She says that just looking at them gives her a creepy feeling, kind of similar to how I react when passing a poison oak bush on a trail.

Swedish researchers have found that the red color in strawberries is connected with the allergens to which people are sensitive. Tests show that eating white varieties of strawberries does not bother those allergic to the red ones.

Oetzi shoes: superior footwear

To make replicas, researchers used parts from a deer, a bear, some pig liver and brains, plus soft grass. After testing, it turns out that Oetzi wore shoes superior to modern ones in many ways.

dinner and a movie

Steak, home fries, watermelon and Tampopo, although we swore noodles had to be on the menu the next time we saw it. Two in our company have not seen it.
