gobs of oatmeal
March 11, 2005If one is hungry at breakfast, as one is apt to be after a paltry dinner of rather dry chicken and half a sweet potato, one can not be faulted for ingesting at a faster rate than normal. Oatmeal at times will display a property not unlike that of a supercooled fluid, especially while still in the microwave, rising up and over the edge of the container. On a spoon, oatmeal will also overflow its boundaries, resulting in undetected accumulation of said material on the sartorial splendor of the diner. Luckily, there are few visitors to the home office, except for the tree removal estimators, and we’ve already talked about them.
